I've been away for a while due to a plethora of reasons - work, travelling, health, concert photography...BUT have been following the great work here on my mobil phone :-)))))

I've always felt that what really make the Fotoblur a standout from other photo sites is the high quality works presented combined with a "virtual community" ie. making real friends with common interests that would not have been possible without the internet/Fotoblur.

The other day, one of those "friendships" became as real as touching it! Coming all the way from Mexico, Gustavo Garza and his lovely family paid us a visit here in Copenhagen! What a magnificent experience it has been to share stories, ideas, photos, music - you name it - with this wonderful man and his beloved family. Watching him play the piano in person (amazing!), take photos of my daughter Freddi, showing him the real places where "The Cut" and "Wave" were taken, etc. etc. was a real thrill and experience of a lifetime! And two of his sons even played ice hockey - how great was that for conversation with The MonTster!

Making friends on FotoBlur? I don't regret it for a moment.
