Many times i had to choose between leaving my pictures in color or turning them into b&w. Since we're using digital cameras mostly (even with film cameras we can scan and edit what we like), since we can change anything whenever we want with a few clicks, there are more variables to take into consideration.

As a general rule, i turn into b&w those pictures where color doesn't play an important role in the meaning of the image, and i understand b&w as a veil, as an emotional filter that adds some depth and elegance. But as i said before, many times that general rule is not enough for me to decide

Wich subjects do you think that works better in b&w or color? what is your criteria when you have to choose?
