Recently a member asked if the "recommended" images filter on the gallery page was broken (http://www.fotoblur.com/gallery?filter=recommended). Apparently no images showed up in this user's recommendation list.

Recommended images is by far one of the more powerful features of Fotoblur and possibly the most overlooked.

If you too are experiencing no images in your recommended list then please read the following:
1. For it to work, you must be logged in.
2. The "recommended" image algorithm depends on you promoting images. If you haven't promoted any images we can not offer image that we think you might like. If you haven't promoted any images recently then this might also be an issue. Once you start promoting images within the gallery then we can start to get a better idea of the types of images you might like and then recommend other similar images to you. Promoting up to 10 - 20 images is required to start recommending images to you.

This will be added to the FAQ, but in the mean time the above info should be sufficient for you to start taking advantage of this powerful feature.
