Dear Fotoblur Community,

I have been thinking for a while that it would be beneficial to our community to start a new section of articles on topics that can help fellow photographers learn from lessons you've discovered along your path in creating great images.

You can google and find millions of articles on the basics of composition, etc. What I'm thinking is something different. Something about aesthetics. Maybe something about photo manipulation and the techniques involved. What makes an image art? Why is one image more popular than another, and what effects does an image have on a viewer's perception? Something a bit more edgy than the normal mundane articles that can be found all over the web. I'm open to whatever ideas you might have.

If this sounds like something that interests you, and you've written an article or two already or would like to submit a new one, send me a private message with samples of your writing or idea. Accepted articles would be published in a new "Articles" section of the site and would be seen my many of our visitors and current members.

I'd also like to reward published writers with a one year Premium Account for having their article published.
