Bardenas of Navarra is a near-desert in which there are many animals and cereal crops. It is a natural park that has small mountain formations that resemble the Grand Canyon or Monument Valley in the U.S. but in miniature. I have made many night shots there, there is little light pollution from cities and the sky looks really good. This is a stand of cattle herders, they take refuge in winter and there are a few in Bardenas. If you want to see more photos of this place you can visit my flickr here:
