I need to get back to regular shooting. I just bought a film camera in the hopes that it would spark my interest to take more photos again but due to the lack of inspiring scenery I feel somewhat uninspired by almost everything I see.
My long exposures really ended about a year ago, and with 2 kids, a career, regular training, publishing a magazine and managing Fotoblur I lost touch. Recently my camera broke and it was a real bummer for me...and it made me realize how much I really miss shooting. The biggest issue is that I put myself into a box of only doing long exposures and I think that restriction was like a noose around my neck. When people really enjoy them its hard to do anything else.
But its regular day life that I'm caught up with now. And maybe I just need to turn the lens in that direction for a change.
