An impromptu shoot with my ever reluctant photon ally, Marie. She wanted a shoot with this hat... So, here's what I ended up with for my first pic. (I rarely show her what I'm getting until the prints are in her hands) ;-) I told her, hat? Ok. But since it's black - "I have an idea!" Yes, she sighed when she heard the direction I wanted to go in ("I want a fun shot, I love this hat"). ...She should know by now! She gave me our usual, lets start shooting gesture (Yes, "the finger".) And off we went... Still so very rusty, but just love firing that shutter - there are other buttons and dials, someday I'll see what they do.
It was a nice, bright day outside... So, I guess I can't say weather influenced the mood. But I have this great black drape hanging from the ceiling... It begs melancholy. This time, the soundtrack was provided by Classic Rock station, 101.5 WPDH - Zeppelin, Floyd, VH, Steely Dan, etc. Love Rock!
1 soft box camera left, black drape and a tri-grip silver reflector camera right.
