Canon EOS 5D MKII, Canon EF 16-35mm 1:2,8L II USM, PP employing PS 5.1 and NIK plugins

As photographers, are we "permitted" / does it make sense at all to try to take (artistic) photos of art and, especially, its interaction with people, that is, how art impacts people / they experience art?
I believe, of course, however, its challenging... ;) :)
