ISO 800, 600mm, 1/1000s, f/8

I found this bull (American Bison) in Missouri's Prairie State Park late yesterday afternoon. He was grazing in an area that was subjected to a controlled burn in the spring of 2011; note the deep forage. I don't know where the rest of the herd is but I expect he'll join them next month.
