i took this picture when i definitely shouldnt have had my poor camera out, during a hike along one of the many trails in laguna, ca.. in the middle of a rain/sleet/snow storm. this shot was taken before it got too insane (that day mount laguna got four inches of rain), when i was waiting for my friends to catch up with me. i found this area to be pretty profound visually, due to the foggy/stormy grey background, the dark trees in the distance, the green trees and the crimson weedy shrubs. i took a lot more pictures as i hiked, again, risking ruining my camera, and i may possibly post some of them.. because they turned out much better than i figured they would. til then, enjoy this one!
