Yiannis Logiotatides was born in Thessaloniki in 1951. He lives and works in Athens. He has been interested in photography since 1972; he is self-taught. His recent topic of priorities was Travel Photography, Nature Photography, mostly studies of light, Still Life and Portraits. He has published 8 photography collections and has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He is a member of the Photography Center of Thessaloniki.
